SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in the text-messaging program operated by University Athletic Association Inc., doing business as University Little League ("ULL," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our registration form, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

University Little League sends transactional SMS messages from toll-free number +1 (855) 720-0332 to registered coaches, parents, guardians, and volunteers who have explicitly opted in. Message types include:

• Game schedule changes
• Weather-related field closures and cancellations
• Field assignments and practice reminders
• All Stars and tournament updates
• League-wide operational announcements

2. How to Opt In

You opt in by checking the SMS consent checkbox on the registration form at universitylittleleague.net/register. The box is unchecked by default. Consent is not a condition of registration, payment, or participation in any league activity.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by season, role, and weather conditions. During peak season (March – June and September – October) you may receive several messages per week. In off-season months you may receive few or no messages.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Carrier charges for SMS messages are governed by your mobile plan; ULL does not charge a fee for SMS messages. Contact your wireless carrier for details on your plan's SMS pricing.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent. You may rejoin the program at any time by replying START or by re-checking the consent box on the registration form.

7. Supported Carriers

The program is available on most U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, and Google Fi. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

We use the mobile number you provide solely to send the messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support SMS delivery (for example, our messaging service provider Twilio) is permitted; those subcontractors are contractually required to use the information only to provide the service and not for their own marketing.

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide. Because ULL serves children, the SMS program is intended for parents, guardians, coaches, and volunteers — not for players under 18.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be sent to opted-in subscribers by SMS or email before they take effect.
